Ostowana is a dynamic record label dedicated to showcasing the richness of African and Middle Eastern culture. With a mission to elevate talented artists, Ostowana features a diverse array of musicians who bring a wide variety of genres and styles to the forefront. The label is deeply committed to producing high-quality works that resonate with audiences and foster meaningful musical collaborations among artists from different cultural backgrounds.
The name "Ostowana" derives from the Arabic term meaning “disc,” a nod to the phonographic discs that historically served as a vital medium for commercial sound recording and broadcasting. This reference is a testament to the company's appreciation for the roots of music and its evolution over time.
AFCON 2025 Opening Ceremony
Omary had the opportunity to contribute to the musical production of the AFCON Opening Ceremony at Stade Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, an iconic event that brought together sport, culture, and music on a continental stage.
Collaborating alongside the legendary Nass El Ghiwane, he worked on producing part of the ceremony’s music, blending contemporary electronic elements with the deep-rooted rhythms of Moroccan heritage. His approach focused on creating a sound that felt both modern and authentic, respecting tradition while elevating it for a large-scale live performance.
The project demanded a high level of precision and artistic sensitivity, as the music had to align seamlessly with choreography, staging, and the overall narrative of the ceremony. Through this experience, Omary contributed to a powerful cultural moment that celebrated African identity and reached a global audience.
CAF Awards Ceremony
Omary contributed to the musical production of the CAF Awards Ceremony in Marrakech—one of African football’s most prestigious events, celebrating excellence across the continent.
As part of the creative team behind the ceremony’s sound, he worked on shaping key musical moments that accompanied live performances, award presentations, and transitions throughout the night. His role focused on crafting a sonic identity that matched the elegance and energy of the event, blending contemporary production with subtle influences from African and Moroccan musical traditions.
