About me

Omary is a Moroccan DJ and producer redefining the sound of modern electronic music. Born and raised in Casablanca, he seamlessly blends African and Moroccan influences with organic house and afro house, creating immersive and soulful experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.

From an early age, Omary developed a deep connection to rhythm through percussion, especially the derbouka, a passion he inherited from his father. This foundation shaped his distinctive musical identity and quickly propelled him into the spotlight, from exclusive private events to some of the most renowned venues in Morocco and beyond.

As the founder of OSTOWANA, a forward-thinking label dedicated to nurturing emerging talent, Omary continues to push creative boundaries while supporting the next generation of artists. His collaboration with Buddha-Bar, including contributions to iconic compilations curated by Ravin, reflects his growing international presence and refined artistic vision.

Beyond the club scene, Omary has contributed to major continental productions, including the AFCON Futsal Championship in Rabat, the prestigious CAF Awards, and the AFCON Championship 2025 opening ceremony, bringing his signature fusion of tradition and modern sound to a global stage.

He has also completed a large-scale national tour across Morocco and expanded his reach internationally, performing across several Gulf countries and beyond, including the UAE, Oman, Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, and Tunisia. In addition, Omary is highly sought after for premium private events, performing at exclusive venues such as the Residence of the French Ambassador in Rabat, as well as numerous high-end VIP receptions.

With appearances at major festivals like Timitar, Visa For Music, Rabafrica, and Wecasablanca, Omary continues to bridge cultures and push artistic boundaries crafting a unique sonic journey that carries Moroccan heritage into the future of electronic music.

it’s true that I’ve been a DJ for years but I’ve only been producing music for a few years, so from a technical point of view I always develop areas for improvement in each production I make. But from a musical point of view, when I produce music, not only do I do it out of love but I expose in each production real feelings which later translate into music that makes people feel something.
The most important lesson I’ve learned in my career is that you always have to seek and keep learning new things and sharing them with other people. The reason for this is because in return you always meet a person who will share with you his know-how and his knowledge, and the second thing is never to underestimate anyone in the artistic world because art has no limit.
